Bit of a late check in, but today has been a fantastic day. Spent way too much time in the Space, Flight and Information Age sections of the Science Museum and could really do with yet another day (or two) in there to properly look at the exhibits and info boards. Some items are as much works of art as scientific instruments.

Then the band were everything I'd expected and more than well worth the wait and expense to see them.

Beer is being taken before bedtime.

It would've been Madam Poppy's 17th birthday today. I miss that cat so much.

...Glad you had a good day out @Jenkins - don't forget, there's some land and water speed record stuff in one of the galleries. Including the Miss England I speedboat, which is powered by one of the Napier Lion racing engines.

Along with a whole load of interesting stuff in the Modern World section which I spent a lot of time in last trip and want to have another look at. There's just too much to see in a couple of visits.

Time for bed.

Yes, we do get very attached to our companion animals.

I had her since she was three and a half months old, and lost her to cancer just short of her 14th birthday. She was my introduction to the bonkers world of tortoiseshell cats.
