I had a really lazy day today. I sat in the the car looking out to sea and pondering the universe in various locations, although I did fit in a few walks. Mostly dry, but very windy.

Any day that doesn't involve work is a good day in my world at the moment.

I have decided to go to Islay tomorrow. They can take me on the 9:30 sailing after all. Weather forecast isn't that great but it will be a change of scenery and a break from normality.

I probably won't have the opportunity to go to Jura now. That should have been tonight/tomorrow.

It has occurred to me that I have cycled on twelve different islands in the past twelve months, Islay will make thirteen. Achill, Omey, and the ten Hebridean islands.

I'm in a different b&b tonight. I didn't really like last night's. The hostess wasn't very nice. Reminded me of the b&b Delboy and Rodney stayed in The Jolly Boys outing.

It always pays to be friendly to the owners of takeaways, got a free bag of chicken balls from a cancelled order to go with my fried rice!

There must be some sort of law in place that requires b&b owners to leave two Biscoff biscuits for guests.

Lovely meal at Romazzino and then a very pleasant evening of wine and cheese pairing at the Cheese Shop in Nantwich. Time for bed now

A comforting supper of avocado, a fried egg, roasted cherry tomatoes, baked beans with mini sausages and a stack of hot buttered toast.

Didn't get too much catching up done this afternoon as I got distracted by an email and ended up costing the potential options for a visit to see a band in Newcastle on a Thursday night or Sheffield on a Friday night next year. The current front runner is Sheffield as the overall costs are much cheaper and it's only a short hop to Leeds where I'm booked in for something on the Saturday. Ticket availability when they go on sale next week will decide.

That then led on to finding out that the cheap train tickets were on sale for an outing to Brighton & Southampton at the end of November so they were purchased and will need collecting when I'm out on Saturday. And finally the mini spending spree finished with a load more digital music from Amazon and Bandcamp and CDs from Ebay.
