Sun out now. Pedal with the missing bolt etc repaired, and the ones with the repainted ends fitted to the new bike.
Then far tool long spent fitting the new bag to it. Looking up a YouTube video it was shown with one velcro strap around the bars and another the stem. Tried various combinations along with a Polaris strap as the stem and head tube were too big for the supplied velcro straps.
Ended up with two of the supplied straps around the bars next to each other and the Polaris strap around the head tube.
Theres also an adjustable strap that goes through the forks. Claims to be washable.
