Evening cuppa went down well earlier
It's time to relax not bad as been on the go since 6.30 this morning

I am thinking about volunteering to set up the official Cycle Chat odd sock swap thanks to a comment that @AndyRM made earlier , does anyone else think it's a good idea.

What i am thinking off is we all post pictures of the odd socks we have then members can send them to me to look after and hopefully eventually make a matching pr and offer to a n other member ...

DO you all think this idea has legs ....

This genuinely made me chuckle, it's so pleasingly bonkers and an amazing idea.

I don't wear matching socks and will happily contribute to the cause.

A quiet evening has been had finishing off the online shopping spree and adding a pack of push on nose pads for my glasses and a couple of pairs of cheap slippers to replace those that were covered in orange squash this afternoon and are now in the bin. As an indication of how miserable it's been, my solar panels produced a total of 1.9kWh of electricity today which is what I'd expect to get in 30-40 minutes when it's sunny.

Hmmmm, not sure my socks would be a good idea. They are all small and mostly pink.

I've just had a fun lunchtime with a group of Brazilian business executives, trying to deliver in English with Portuguese assistance and a remote presenter who was co-presenting with me from India. I understood part of what they were asking, we had AI doing subtitles and other aspects, then relaying that all back to India where needed.

It was both challenging and very interesting, particularly where we touched on a developing business area and the use of AI.

Tired now!

Oh, and yesterday I received a 'long service award' from my work, having been there for 25 years. A £300 voucher is much appreciated.

Congratulations 25 years in the same job is unusual these days.

With mine it's generally the area around the big toe that goes, so that sock goes on the other foot when the pair comes round in the wearing rotation until both sides have gone. It's also a good reason for having multiple pairs al of the same design.
