Miss P applied for a new job.Yesterday was the in person interview.A 20 min train journey to the place,it's a research post/job.No idea what that is.Anyway interview went well,they said more interviews that afternoon,and expect a phone call next week one way or the other.Well it was her birthday yesterday,we had a meal out,then she went and met up with her pals.In the afternoon whilst out,her phone rang.We would like to offer you the post.She has,and now she has a new job.

Second cuppa went down well with a slice of toast and red jam.

Car park wasn't too bad at local anticoagulation clinic.

Incoming parcel not arrived yet.

This is not mundane,i just want to say thank you all for being around to vent and talk to.It means a lot,even though i have many pals i am pretty lucky like that,my mate who lost his wife has joined a Man's type of club,i think he said Andysmanclub,well you lot are here and i appreciate that.

Dull and breezy here. Did the cleaning then went to the gym. Now killing time before heading out for a pilates lesson this afternoon.

well, it's Fall & I like to bring the bike to work, then after work, take it somewhere for a ride, before dark. when we get later into the Fall & winter, I bring a light. yesterday I found a headlamp & duct tape in the car so I brought those with me & at the turnaround I taped it on my helmet. it came in handy at road crossings & toward the end in darker sections, for oncoming ppl & bikes to see me in advance. not ideal but it was OK. it's 8.5 miles to this small lake, so a nice little round tripper

this paved rail-trail has some newly paved sections

always nice when these are out in the yard

goofy but worked in a pinch

had to dodge some rain drops. didn't quite manage to dodge them all, but didn't get soaked
