It's been a warm, breezy and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Did not sleep well. Dozed off while cat cuddling. Woke up an hour later to no cat and cold feet. Went to bed, but brain wouldn't switch off thanks to some potentially useful plot bunnies hopping around in my head. So eventually, I gave in, got up and wrote them down so that I wouldn't forget them. Problem with that, was it was already very, very late, and then it's difficult to fall asleep. And then I woke too early as well. Ah well, hey ho. Anyways, downstairs, fed a hungry cat, cleaned up some cat sick, made myself a

Chainsaw needed to finish the job off, and I'll have some dry firewood to boot. And I can now get to the two trees that got skittled earlier in the year to finish cutting them up. They'll keep me in firewood for the entire winter, I think.
I'd promised my friend Linda some bread pudding as it's one of her favourite little sweet indulgences, so went out to drop that off at hers. Swung by the community orchard first, and picked some Thoday's Quarrenden and Perfection apples. Might have eaten a few apples while I was at it. Dropped off the bread pudding and half the apples at Linda's.
Have had a quiet evening so far. Am currently watching "Today at the Test" while supping on a
