Morning. Another lovely red sunrise which looked like the eastern horizon was on fire.
I was having an interesting dream just before I woke up. I was working somewhere where they had old furniture which needed repairing, mainly wooden cupboards. Inside the drawers were interesting objects which the previous objects that the previous owner had collected, metal badges, brass lighters. The lighters reminded of the lighters my dad had made from large brass nuts with RAF or Army badges soldered onto the ends and converted into lighters.

Laundry day has been decreed. Basically on the grounds of good taste and personal hygiene
Process requires taking laundry on bike to nearby town. Leave Vanessa to talk to the other campervans.
An enquiry of Google suggests there is one of those pop up laundries at a supermarket site.

Wonderful George said yes to two nights a week visits.He was a bit down when i arrived,but cheered up during the evening,he has done me a favour without him knowing ,so it is Tuesday and Friday nights now.Today a visit to Harlow Carr Gardens leaving soon and lunch out at one of two pubs we have found on the 'net',s i l is having him.

Good morning from a mostly sunny Suffolk although still soggy underfoot after more overnight rain than expected. Coffee has been had.
Just waiting for 10:00 when tickets go on sale and then I'm off shopping for food & drink for the weekend away at Silverstone rather than pay extortionate amounts of £££ for circuit burgers & coffee.

Grumble grumble. Got to go to the tip today as our paper/cardboard bin won't be emptied for a few weeks. We fill it up quite quickly as we are pretty good at recycling. The council have listened, and are going back to 2 weekly cardboard collections, but not until January 2027.

I'm feeling very tired this morning. I suppose something heavy landing on me in the early hours of the morning and then wanting to go out didn't help. I don't know where he has been hiding but it has been twice now.
