A warm, humid and blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, with the odd light shower of rain.
Did not sleep well. But oddly enough, it's a cause for celebration, because after ten months (has she really been here that long?) Madam Boo decided to join me while I slept. Or tried to sleep.
I hope it's not a one off, but I am so out of practice when it comes to sleeping with a cat on the bed.
So downstairs earlier than expected (had to get up to use the little girls' room), fed the cat, made myself a
and took it upstairs to do some writing. Had a quiet time, but listened to the cricket and FP3 from Madrid.
Did the chores. After, went out on a bicycular bimble, which yielded seven kilos of beetroot, a bag of walnuts and a Le Creuset pot that had been dumped in a hedge. If it doesn't clean up well, it'll make an eye catching pot to put a plant in.
Had a very late luncheon of a ham, cheese & coleslaw sandwich, a packet of crisps, a slice of bread pudding and a small pot of tea.
Spent the afternoon watching horse racing and listening to the F1 qually and the footy. Now watching the athletics.
There's also the Sunderland v Arsenal game later, plus it's Last Night of the Proms.
