Currently sorting camping stuff out to load into the car for tomorrows jolly to Southwold for a couple of days of walking the dog on the beaches, riding around on the Brommie in a leisurely fashion & generally getting my mind in a better place.

My word a sunny Meanwood Monday here.Just finished brekkie,today i have a hospital app,they want to see the facial repair after digging out those carcinomas.No problems at all,its a long day for just a ten min consultation.but i might 'fall' in to the pub after.One week to our holiday now.i am so looking forward to a rest.It starts off with private transport down to a hotel near Heathrow.We always go a day early in case of motorway problems.

Can someone explain what is the logic behind the idea that you make F1 cars so that they car follow another car closely so that they can overtake and then build a new racing circuit where they can't?

Good morning from an overcast but warm Suffolk. Looks to be damper underfoot than when I got home yesterday, so there's been yet more rain overnight.
A bit of an oversleep this morning which I'm blaming on an excess of fresh air over the past couple of days, so coffee was a bit late. The washing machine is currently doing its thing to a load of cycle clothing which I'm hoping should get dried outside if the weather forecast is to be believed - although after yesterday's 🌧️ I'm not too sure about.
Today will be mostly spent shopping for today's food, travel snacks for tomorrow and then sorting out the overnight bag for the away day to Leeds.

It might be a little out of your way (1h20 drive) but Horsey Gap is worth a visit. It may be just me but the seals there have had a very calming effect on me. In a way, it's my healing coast. I think it's related to us meeting on the edge of our world and the edge of theirs. (Plenty of wildlife behind the dunes too.)
