We're an unsecured creditor of FlyBe, who went into administration in 2023 owing £600-650 million to all of the unsecured creditors. There is apparently £800k to return to the unsecured creditors after the secured creditors / tax people / lawyers have taken their share of the assets.

As we paid via a debit card we couldn't do a chargeback, which was annoying since the credit card company wouldn't authorise the purchase of a ticket the week before they went under

Having received a message, SWMBO needs to send all the documentation again as they are going to distribute the £800k they have but after their expenses, so it's probably more like £400k.

Two things:

a) This was three years ago and I can't find the previous form. Or documentation. Edited: SWMBO has found the booking.
b) It looks like we'll get about 8p back on the £131 we lost.

Ergo I can't be bothered. Although might just do the form for the annoyance of the administrators.

Well how odd I thought I would give both lawns a quick once over did the back absolutely fine, moved mower to front lawn , plugged the extension cable in and thread it out of the window to the mower and nothing, checked the fuse and it's fine tried it without the extension lead and nothing so looks like a new lawn mower is needed, this one is about 7 years old.

No damage to the cable from the outside all looks good then on off press switch all looks fine with no sign of getting hot etc etc , haven't taken it apart any further, will try it again tomorrow just in case it's got too hot and the thermal switch has kicked in but it doesn't smell or feel hot .
