Morning.
Drizzling here.
I was thinking about the Lion, the witch , and the wardrobe with a mirrored door and a cat. Not by C.S. Lewis. If the door was left slightly open the cat would sneakily put a paw round the door and try to bop the cat the other side. As soon as the children opened the door the cat would be in there as fast as a rocket. Strangely enough the cat would soon be disappointed that there wasn't another room in there let alone another world.

It has stopped raining and I can see blue sky to the north.

I was reading something on the net asking if we should bring back apprenticeships. As usual you get some people saying that what is the point as they will be replaced by robots! Well a robot won't fix things for you! Apprenticeships teach people things which they can use in the future. A lot of those skills can be used for other things. We are constantly learning new things in our jobs or hobbies. I have used things which I learnt on my art course for other things, so things we learn can be adapted for other things.

Good morning from a very breezy, cloudy and occasionally drizzly Suffolk. An XL coffee has been had not because it was needed but just because I fancied one. The non-recycling bin has been emptied and needs to be retrieved and returned to its normal resting place.

Given the general miserableness of the weather, today will be mostly indoor domestics. A bit of weeding of the front garden border also needs to be done thanks to the recent wet weather encouraging the wrong sort of plant growth.
