Legal person is common usage in most jurisdictions as opposed to a natural person aka a human being.

So it's not just Germans being odd then: the longer I'm here the more I learn in German first, and have to translate to English. I was barely out of my teens when I moved here, so I guess I didn't need to know that particular term...

One disadvantage of living in the middle of this rather lovely village is that the flat can be a bit if a goldfish bowl, and unusually for a German flat, doesn't have any shutters.

Pre work walk has been travelled, same route as normal but a good 5 minutes quicker.
Clear blue sky and single digit temperature.
First cuppa brewing.

The sun is up but hiding behind some thin cloud at the moment, the sky is blue but there is some thin cloud around.

Saturday's planned audax was bailed, partly due to son no. 2 not being well and partly due to a few nights of poor sleep. We decided it wouldn't be sensible or pleasant.

So ... we had a nice lunch in Brampton and said "hello" to a few who were riding. Instead we visited the Solway Aviation Museum where we got to sit in the cockpit of a Vulcan bomber. After climbing up.

Good morning from a sunny Suffolk where I've been awake since silly o'clock and couldn't get back to sleep. Coffee has long been had.

Out in about an hour to get the first of three trains ending up in Brandon only to cycle back to Norwich to get the train home again.

Up very early,i wonder why.Three hours five mins to pick up.11-05 strange time.Last night my attitude changed i could feel it.Just being back to normal me and Mrs P.This is going to be a superb holiday.

I've read some reports of some bikes giving a smooth ride but you don't really know how smooth is smooth until you ride a bike which makes your previously smooth riding bike seem harsh! It is a bit surprising when the bike turns out to have an aluminium frame which are supposed to give a harsh ride! The bike is my Fausto Coppi K14 with a carbon front fork. There is one particular bit on my ride which I dread going over. It is just a small narrow groove running across a road, but if you hit it it feels like it's going to knock your fillings out, but on my Coppi it's, ooh! Was that it? The tyres are 25mm ones which don't give any cushioning.
