I'd used the banks night safe as late as 2012. Especially on late night opening, usually only the Thursday of each week but we did two late nights per week in December.

The building/company insurance didn't cover for cash over £100 left on the premises overnight.

A belated good morning from Suffolk after a bit of a late night and a longer lie in than normal this morning. It must be the weekend as I can hear the shouts and referee's whistle from the football on the local playing field.

Coffee has been had and it's been a hazily sunny start to the day with thin high cloud. The rest of the morning will be spent faffing around the house until around midday when I hope to go out for a bit of fresh air while listening to the Grand Prix through headphones.

In other news, my energy account has finally been updated leaving me with a healthy balance, so I've requested a partial credit refund which will be enough to pay for two hotels, one breakfast and (if it is credited to my bank in time) some extra spending money for Tuesday's away day.

Twix coffees washing hung out and then an unplanned Co-op trek. Could not find the TV guide I bought on Thursday so presumed I had left it at the till. They let me have another FOC. Also found a pack of heavily reduced free from scones which are now in the freezer.

What I wanting to look for in the TV guude was what coverage of the BBC had of the World Championships which previously had been limited to the final weekend but turns out just to be tomorrow 7pm BBC3

I altered the pond filter yesterday. The existing filter medium removed and smooth rocks and gravel put in place so I can plant in the top of the filter. Large at the bottom and reducing in size to the gravel at the top. Did not take as long as expected. Today I be mostly getting a few plants then.
