Miserable and for most day wet bar a sunny lunchtime which I failed to make use if.

New work mobile had gone back to being awkward and basically needing the password in to unlock everytime.

Soup and sticky toffee pudding was an appropriate dinner.

Last such pudding in the cupboard so to Asda where after much searching I found they had put them in amongst the Christmas food. Lidl to use the £2 voucher and Sainsbury's for various Nectar prices and points.

Not really mundane, I think.

I was out in the back garden when the person I was with said that the large bird above was a Red Kite. ^_^

Evening cuppa went down well with a couple of biscuits

Work wise has been a 5hit day , why can't people take the blame when needed rather than try and blame others

I've noticed this too. I also discovered that taking responsibility when I make a mistake is not only less stressful, it earns respect.

Also, when it isn't my fault, then people believe me...

Nervous trespasser on platform 4 at Shipley tonight.

It has a problem with it's right rear, limping on it.
Came up the old footpath that led to the platform, but now fenced off.

Not in my plans this morning was chucking a bike in the boot of the car and heading up to Diss for my monthly ride outside Suffolk challenge 50k. I was looking at the BBC weather app and the few weekdays left in the month that I have free were covered in rain symbols, so instantly decided to get out and get it done. No planned route meant making it up from knowledge of the area and it was a miserably grey afternoon with a few easily ignored raindrops but I'm happy that it's been done.

Not so happy is my wallet as I filled up with diesel on the way home in anticipation of trips to Brands Hatch & Silverstone on the next two Sundays - £80 with £1.60 cashback for using a Chase debit card. Slightly better news is that it's been confirmed that the TV is ready for collection so I'm off to Bury St. Edmunds in the morning and I'll take the train unless the heavens open in a deluge style.

The evening's hot chocolate has been had and a single beer may be had shortly.

It's been a mild and grey day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well and overslept massively. Like two hours massively. Woke up to a very hungry cat demanding her daily rations. So downstairs, fed the cat, made myself a :cuppa: and took it upstairs to do a little bit of reading.

After, scudded through the chores, and went out to do a spot of lumberjilling. Made some good progress.

Had a late luncheon of bread, cheese and a small pot of tea.

Then back out to get the cut logs under cover. Had to tidy up the shed some before I could stack the wood inside. It's a bit damp there, but at least the logs are out of the weather.

Had a lovely supper of pork in an onion, mustard & cream sauce, spaezele, and steamed & buttered savoy cabbage. Had apple crumble & custard for afters.

A quiet evening is planned.
