Just been adding things up from our recent London trip. Our English Heritage membership saved us just short of £80. Given via club card vouchers we don't pay full price for it in the 1st place. Over the year it more than pays for its self.

It was under sedation so I think they hold on to us for a bit.

They do yes it's one reason I don't have it. Normally they monitor and discharged straight from recovery. I doubt our discharge lounge is big enough to deal the influx from day surgery.

It has been a gorgeous morning here. Took the bus to Balerno then walked a 9 mile route back. Top spots along the way were a stoat and a kingfisher.
