Repeat of Monday, cold inside and wet outside. CH on far too early. Ordered a small oil filled radiator on Monday but it seems to have stalled since then at "order being prepared for shipping". Something to chase tomorrow if no progress.

Amazed and delighted to have booked a room in central Birmingham Travelodge for a penny less than £25, so I can attend a gig at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and get a bed for the night instead of trying to get home the same night or dossing around New Street until late the next morning! Maybe not the most comfortable hotel, but still a bargain, I hope.

yeah but we have a house our Mother moved out of that no one wanted to sell, even tho 2 realtors were chomping at the bit. she moved out 2 years ago & now ran out of money, so now we're gonna need to sell it. no one is saying when, but the clock is ticking

From Southampton where an extended snooze has been had. A nice and easy journey down (apart from having to deal with dawdling tourists on the walk through London) followed by lunch, drinks and, having booked in to the hotel, a shower.

Coming shortly will be the walk to The Joiners for a bit of loud music and yet more beers.

I've just been allowed my very first water of the day. I'm in for an endoscopy/biopsies and waiting to speak to a doctor before going to the discharge lounge.

It's half term, not yet Halloween so why are the local university kiddies out in force in various costumes? If my ears hadn't been blasted by the band, I'd be complaining about the noise in the pub.

A very good evening has been had, Mould were fantastic even though it was just a short 45 minute set (they've only released 2 EPS and 1 album) and I wouldn't mind visiting the venue again.

When I get back to the hotel a hot chocolate and a snack will be had before bedtime.

When the next table is occupied by 2 traffic cones and an angel you know it's time to stop drinking.
