My Friday morning walking buddy couldn't make it this morning so a solo pre work walk has been completed.

Easy come easy go - or that's what my salary feels like currently.

Been an expensive 4 weeks - two tyres and a new battery for my van (£540), then it's another two tyres for MrsF's car (Michelin Cross Climate 3's so £340 = spendy) and it also needs lower ball joints/lower suspension arms (faster and cheaper to replace the arms - probably another £250) - which it's booked in for.

Still, keeping an older car in tip top condition is cheaper than one month's lease on a new one !

Now what bike shizzle can I buy, hate spending on 'vehicles' ?

I have a load of T-shirts and a Vittoria Corsa in my basket at Banana Industries !

Over the last seven days, I have learned that knocking half a glass of beer into the keyboard of your laptop has awkward and expensive consequences. It also made me realise how pitifully dependent I am on the internet.

Whoops - stopped you buying a new bike though.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been clear skies & sunshine all morning. Coffee has been had and the solar panels are powering the washing machine dealing with last week's changed bedding.

Tickets for both of the gigs I want to go to have been successfully obtained and I'll sort out the hotels in the next week. There's nothing else to do for the rest of the day and so, with the weather being as good as it is, I think I'll give the new toy an outing for a few hours.
