I was woken by a sharp cramp in my right calf. The sudden urgency to get some weight on the foot so I could extend the contracted muscle might have worked had I been competently awake. Instead, I ended up falling out of bed and landing on the floor (luckily on top of the bedclothes) with one hand in the upturned wastepaper basket.
Still, better to wake with a bump than a Trump.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a cloudy, chilly and breezy start to the day. Coffee has been had after a very good night's sleep interrupted briefly by the need for a pee and then cold feet.
The only thing that needs to be done today is to go out and get another bottle of milk. Whether that's done by foot, bike or train (with lunch/drinks out) will be decided after a shower. As SWR have just paid out on my latest delay repay claim, I suspect it may be the latter.
Just for information it was the pack of Tesco 'Shorties' biscuits that were opened today.

They tend to hire vans and use temp staff to cover extra work load as and when. They've cut down on uniforms so don't tend to hand out stuff to temp or seasonal staff.

Pentlands Water of Leith, Midlothian as was
A beautifully sunny but chilly start to the day here. Enjoyed a slow 50 minute run through lots of gorgeous colours. Will be heading off after lunch to visit my MiL on her 94th birthday, will take her out to Pentland Plants for tea and cake.
