With the immense amount of intellect and good taste on this forum I'm sure you can help me

For a friend (who's in his 90's) I'm trying to find some modern style swing music either by a sole female or featuring a female singer.

I'll just sit back and take all the credit later.

Check out Lavay Smith.. Modern day big band swing...she has a fantastic voice. Check out her album 'Everybody's Talking' Bout Miss Thing'.... brilliant...
