I'm on fire

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzQvGz6_fvA

"Hey, little girl, is your daddy home?
Did he go and leave you all alone?
I got a bad desire
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire

Tell me now, baby, is he good to you?
And can he do to you the things that I do? Oh, no.
I can take you higher
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire, I'm on fire

Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby,
Edgy and dull,
And cut a six-inch valley
Through the middle of my skull.

At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
And a freight train running through the middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire"

Creepy

You have made me look at that song in a new light. i had never actually thought about the meaning.
Is it a song on sung on behalf of a love struck teen, or a 60 year old rocker.
I would give Springsteen the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I always get a feeling of impending madness and destruction when I hear that country girl song, I think it's by Primal scream.

Not really "creepy" as such, but the World In Action theme brings back feelings of dread and angst as a kid growing up in the 1970s.

Despite being a huge Cash fan I never liked Hurt. Just could never get into it although I've since taken a real liking to the Sandi Thom version which works much better imo.

The sig music for Just a Minute on R4. I think that's because I just hate the programme so much though xx(.
Heathen!!!

you've plummeted in my estimations... The Minute Waltz was my ringtone for years... and it'll be a sad day when Nicholas Parsons slips off this mortal coil

Theme tune from The Now Show is wonderfully haunting, and spectacularly short...
