I saw the Cramps at the Melkweg in Amsterdam in 1989 - it was the most bizarre crowd I've ever seen!

The Cramps always did attract a fairly rum bunch!

Anyhow, Herman Brood...

+1.

Aye and SA was such a nice bloke too. I worked in a BP petrol station in Netherton Broadstreet Dunfermline for two years whilst at college(mid 80's) and he lived at the back of it. He was forever popping in with his kids(Calum/Kirsty - I think) - such a shame he's no longer with us.

I recently spent an evening on YouTube watching all the old tracks and reading all the comments from kids who where only just discovering "Big Country."

......then there's John Entwistle. :becool:

Had to wiki him...

"His suicide, according to a poll organized to celebrate fifty years of Dutch popular music, was the most significant event in its history."

Even more bizarrely, Frank Black (the one out of the Pixies) wrote a "rock opera" about him which opened somewhere in the US last year!
