Hey, Im a very confident rider on a bike, & Driving, but when im behind the wheel i cant stand when cyclists sit in traffic, Your holding up cars that want to get the green, so you might as well stick to the left & get to the front & stick to the appropriate lane you need cos thats what drivers expect & its easier to deal with from the drivers point of view....?
& being a cyclist your are the most vunerable one in the road dont hold cars up its too dangerous..
What ever vehicle your using they all have different road languages, try not to mix it....

Yes, I will stick to the appropriate lane

i don't give a flying wotsits what you can't tolerate when you are behind the wheel, but if you don't like cyclists being in traffic then you need to learn the definition of traffic (hint: it's not exclusive to YOU)

If you can't stand things behind the wheel then perhaps you should consider (i) a refresher course, re-training and adjusting your attitude to other road users or (ii) not driving, if you're not mature enough to handle it.

It's itchyrider,
Here's the English
Cyclists get in the way of cars in london quite a lot, That's way there's so many accidents involving cyclists. I see it most often..
& it upsets me.

Are you trolling? Please explain why the stats show that in cyclist vs motor vehicle collisions, it's largely the driver who is to blame. This is obvious when you think how squishy cyclists are, and how much more they are motivated to avoid crashes than a driver protected inside their metal cage.

It may be English but its nonsense English. IME its cars that get in the way of cyclists a hell of a lot in London. I am forever having to cycle past long queues of the poor things stuck in queues of their own making. And the number of accidents is very low and almost always attributed to fault by the driver not the cyclist. But I guess you have to make up something to console yourself stuck behind your steering wheel in traffic.

You sound more like a car driver than a very confident bike rider.

I'll remember this as on the right hand side of the road I overtake 4 or 5 cars... and laugh heartily! Interestingly, around town I spend about 70% of my time in the middle of the lane. However most of my near misses come from when I'm towards the left of the lane. Personally I'll ignore your 'advice' as someone who blatantly doesn't have a clue about road safety.

Oh dear me no again.

Cars get in the way of cyclists in London quite a lot, cars get in way of other motor vehicles in London quite a lot too, that's why there are so many accidents involving cars. I often see them and it upsets me.
