I work some nights in the city so may start taking my bike with me and get out for an hour during my shift, markets are normally quiet so it shouldn't be an issue

I'm up for it. There is London night rider organised ride but that only has charity places left

I should be up for a private up-town wander about. Also I know that @Andrew_Culture has a vague plan for a London night ride.

I'd like to get up that early and ride but my body doesn't agree.

Takes about an hour after waking just for my face to resume its normal shape let alone anything else.

Nowt wrong wi' bein' up at 05:30, that's what time I have to leave the house when I'm on morning shift. It's nice in that the roads are fairly empty and you can maintain a decent speed.

Got up at 04:50 to set off on my commute to work (14 miles) the other day. Loved it.

i'm up earlier than that for work....like a rest at the weekend though lol

would love to ride my bike to work but at 40 miles and motorway it's not doable
