It's like my 5p washers, I had a trike customer in last month for a service and he commented that the least corroded washer on his trike was on the rear mudguard drop bracket and it always stayed shiny even after three years of constant use, he then commented that it looked just like a 5p piece, I showed him my washer jar with drilled 5p pieces in. Will the queen set the hounds on me now?

Yes...they will probably stick you in jail especially if you tell them you are a cyclist...although if you tell them you are a law breaking car driver they will probably give you a commendation.
