Right, in short it went something like this:
P*nct*red just as I set off, decided to ride on it anyway as it seemed slow and I was obviously insane for a moment and thought better of it after about two seconds. Tried to fix it outside work in the rain for some inexplicable reason, went back into work to fix it instead and discovered I had no tyre levers (!?) Looked around the "workshop" for something I could use instead, gave it up as a bad job after ages and decided to cut my losses and run home instead in my crappy trainers with holes in. Set off on foot and found my tyre levers and some other tools in the floor where they fell out of my bag taking the wheel off outside. Ran home, got in the car and went to the nursery. Got there less than 30 seconds before 6pm when it closes. Muppet. I had four p*nct*res on one Sunday morning bike ride a while ago and managed fine changing everything by the roadside. Hadn't had any for over a year before that and presumed that was my lot for a while.
Such a shame, the commute in was glorious despite the wind and rain. Traffic was queuing past the end of my street on the main road virtually at a standstill and I tanked it down the bus lane all the way to work.
