Its a very good bike, I would class mine as a hybrid now as it has road tyres and locked out forks. Its very light at 13kg's Also the top speed I have managed on this is 48mph

Been thinking about it, might even lower the stem for a slightly better aerodynamic position. Can you recommend me some SPD pedals and shoes that I don't need to take a mortgage out for?

I've fitted these to mine and I also have a pair of last years model of these but if you wait a little longer I'm sure Lidl will have their cycling stuff due out soon, and you can pick a pair of similar shoes to these for about £15.

70 quid is a bit on the expensive side for me at the moment, are there no clipless shoes for £50 or less?
