I broke mine at the age of 45 and was 'well' enough to start (and finish) a 4,500 km ride four eweeks afterwards!

Hope it heals quickly, and hope you're back on the bike again before too long.

Here are all the injuries I sustained when I had my accident. Broken collar bone, severe bruising and soft tissue damage. I have more pics but these are the worst of them.

Ouch ! I bust mine many years ago when i was riding some old bus of a bike with those square Ever Ready lights attached to the front forks.Light moved into the spokes and hey presto instant brakes and airborn Skud !!!

Ouch. It'll be sore for a while but when the time's right, you'll be back on your bike for sure. Hope you heal quickly!

I got knocked out and did my collar bone back in 2005 when I had a freak incident involving a stick in my front wheel. Made a mess of my forks.

Both bike and I made full recoveries - and this is still my work-a-day commuter.
