No matter what I wear, I keep getting freezing hands. Taken to wearing upto 3 pairs of gloves but whatever combination I try, seems insufficient. I never used to have these problems. I thought about the lobster claws but wasn't sure.

I wear my woolly gloves over my pearl izumu cycling gloves. It's better than just the cycling gloves, but not ideal.

Aldi winter gloves for me. Mind you I can wear quite thin gloves down to about freezing and don't get cold. Feet are my first extremity to feel the cold.

My toes are freezing because my silly Shimano shoes have toe holes for ventilation and my overshoes don't seem to stop the cold air coming through them.

Any ideas how to plug the holes?

I finally found a use for my old Sealskin golves (I think of them as thick Marigolds).
Great as winter undergloves and still wet from the inside!

Merino undergloves did quite little for me.

I use Specialized sub zero. They have an internal full fingered glove then an out glove which has three fingers together and the other finger and thumb separate. They are better than the mountain equipment ones I was using before.

Liner gloves, in merino or silk, are usually very thin and shouldn't add bulk under your usual gloves. I use Goretex Wind stopper things which were toasty warm this evening, but my hands don't usually get cold anyway.

cheap full fingered Decathlon Btwin gloves for me.....no probs this morning at or around zero i think, mind you as others have said it probably a personal thing as i heat up fairly quickly. I guess it also depends on the length of your ride....30 to 40mins for me .

I bought a pair of SealSkinz Winter gloves but have found them too warm so far (-2). However the SealSkinz All Weather gloves that I have seem to be just about right for the weather at the moment. In fact I reckon that they'll probably do me for the winter, but saying that, my commute is only 30 minutes max.
