I spotted a Rose road bike last summer, and took to the web to find out more.Rose are a distinctive German bike company that offer clean design aesthetics and impeccable technical credentials, in my view - and selling direct to consumers, there prices are competitive. You don't see their bikes much on British roads, so they have some exclusivity at present. When I finally manage to rob a bank and get a few thousand pounds together, I will possibly consider a Rose.

I saw them at the cycle show at the NEC a couple of years ago and also fell in love with the idea of owning one. Unfortunately I am still trying to work out how I could manage to afford one

My wife calls the Rose catalogue "your bike Pron" and she is right I could spend hours looking at things I have no chance of ever getting near.

I had a plan but the possible 2-7 years inside was a good deterrent. and i didn't fancy putting Mrs Subaquas tights over my head either.
