I always tried to catch his series on C4 way back.
I thought he was great, some brilliant observational comedy.
He's not for the faint hearted though. As if he cares a f**k!

Never liked him. Or his humour. Of course he wouldn't GAF I know. Just found him unpleasant.
Jerry Sadowitz. Emphasis on the SAD.

I've met Jerry Sadowitz a few times, he had an affair with a friend of mine, a female magician.

I never liked him, and never thought he was funny, not that he'd give a toss, but he is a very good magician. At the time of the OP he was working full time at the International Magic Studio in Leather Lane.

Gerry Sadowitz? Was he the bloke who started an on-stage gag ( about 15 years ago) with

"Nelson Mandela.......

....what a c###"

After a stunned silence, the audience absolutely howled with laughter.

Sadovitz is pretty quiet and, dare i say it, shy off stage. met him a few times and he was very nice, but quiet.

Sadowitz is also an amazing magician. i did have the pleasure of him doing very close-up tricks with me - as in planting cards in the pocket of my shirt.

the first proper show of his i saw was in Edinburgh years ago. he asked for a £20 note off someone, he then did the usual thing of writing on it before ripping it up and setting it on fire and laughing at the person saying 'serves you right for giving it to me'. at the end of the show he started packing up and took an apple from his bag - he continued to insult people and tell offensive jokes as he cut the apple in two, pulled out a £20 note with the writing on and calmly handed it back to the person. stunned silence ensued.

Isle of Man TT around the late 80's early 90's they were filming a modern version of George Formbys "No limits" in the guest house next door, at diner time i went to the chipy at the end of the road and there in front of me was the very delightful Anneka Rice, she was getting the chips in for the whole cast and crew, so i helped carry some back for her down the road back to the B&B, what a nice lady she was (still is i presume)

Here she is from the Challenge Anneka show

Brilliant.

I saw Sadowitz doing a piece to camera down by the GLA building while Blaine was being taunted by copter-hung burgers.

I've also been introduced to...

Straight up.
