My new bicycle is a Brompton. Its quiet old but I just bought it and its just a beauty.

Can get a Tern Stowaway bag or if you dont want to spent loads just get Dimpa bag from Ikea, others use them and I had one for my brommie, fits in there perfectly

You'll never be short of friends with a Brompton. Everyone, everywhere you go, wants to talk about it and how marvellous it is. What more justification do you need?

Or how about the fact that you can take it anywhere, jump off a train/bus, unfold and within seconds be off and cycling...

I'd have thought that once she's seen how useful they are Mrs D. would want one for herself!
