my new bike!

Hi, I'm another Dawes fan. Haven't got a Horizon, but have got a modified Chilliwack hydrid, which I have travelled miles on. It's not flash, fast or expensive, but it is fun and I can cycle on road, cycle path and dirt and it never complains!

Got the bike! put the bits together and been out for a couple of miles, feels great! Hi to Soltydog, the Hull to Hornsea section of the TPT is about 20 yards from my back door! (near Sutton road) often have a ride down there.

I have named my bike 'Shinto' after the donkey in the book Spanish steps by Tim Moore which I am still trying to read two years after being given it....good book, just my head doesnt do books that well...Shinto is the Donkey who he walked to Compostela with....hmm...that name does make me wonder about the ...erm...'quality' of the beer in that town somewhat!
