My new commute bike

Spesh Singlecross with lighting and guards from my previous hack. Just put on some 28 mm Armadillos.

So far so good, the brake pads are nasty- just need to put some Kool Stops in there and then it should be just fine. And I need to swap the white cable ties for black ones.

that does look nice, is that the new 2009 model? Or still the green and white? Think my next purchase will be something similar, much as I hate to say it but mudguards are a must on a dailly commuter.

It is sort of green. It's almost black, like looking at really dark green seaweed, in a cave.

It's the landlord's wall that needs pointing. Unfortunately I don't have a wall of my own.

Very nice bike, what's the gearing on it?

Quite spinny, 42 x 18, around the 60 inch mark. If I were to run it fixed, and I think I'll have to someday soon, I'd want something a bit higher. I think it'll be a good ratio for the commute in winter.
