Yes . I am a very daft person that knows nothing about carbon seat posts

It's not a carbon seat post, it's part of the frame which is cut to suit the rider! It's actually not a Defy either, it will be the TCR or the Propel but I don't think it really matters now anyway!

I didn't say it was a defy I said there where some cracking deals and made a joke about the seat posts .
One day , when I get good on my bike and can ride no handed and clap three times like you I will look into carbon seat posts and the technical tolerances associated with such things .
