There's a strange light in the sky today!

Here too ! My picture above was maybe at 10-11am. Yet the light was just like going away from sunrise or into sunset. A pinky hue almost, and a subdued / cloudy haze. Possibly made more “eerie” by the millpond condition. I’ve spent a lot of time working by the sea. Today was ‘unusual’ light for sure….

I won't complain that they aren't taken from the same angle, as I'd not want to prompt a pylon.

The other outlook is just to the left in the second pic. But I didn't compare them till I got home.
Still not the absolute worst though. I have seen that pylon (the first one for avoidance of confusion) surrounded by water. The field was barren mud for weeks afterwards.

Interesting, given the record high for the Otter nearer Otter-y
