The borrowed e-bike (hence the sky-blue hue!) today, on my first ride since the heart op on 1 April. Bike, heart, lungs & legs all worked OK.

I used to have a WiFi app on my phone that scanned for available networks. I would sometimes fire it up while on the bus to collect granddaughter from school. It was interesting to see what networks were available, and how many were open 😮. Mostly they were the default network names, Sky, Virgin, BT etc. Occasionally there would be football team related, and a couple of very sweary ones such as " f&ck off and get your own WiFi " 🤣

Yes indeed, and thanks. I'm pretty sure that the body would have coped with the flat ride without the assistance, but at the moment I'm being sensibly sensible in all things physical, and having a bike that is built like a tank and keeps me upright so that I'm not putting strain on the wired-up sternum is, erm, sensible. (As far as I know, the sternum is healing well from having been sawn in two, but I'm rather keen not to put just how well-healed it is to the test.)
I was even passed by someone on a Brompton 😭🤣
