I was wanting to ride the full 45km home from work today in the sunshine and just before I set of I checked the weather radar to see a stonking great thunderstorm on it's way. I figured I could just about outrun it if I got going, so I spent the ride with it chasing me home, just about making it.

We had a visit from mum and youngster pied wagtail. The photos were actually taken through the front window. They had visited about an hour earlier, when there was thunder and a bit of lightning about, it did`nt faze them !

First ride out on the Ribble (and without battery assistance) since March and the re-knitted mitral valve. It felt good, and was jolly nice, even if the weather didn't play ball!
