A leisurely 26 or so miles of a mix of bridleway, minor roads and a few main roads.
The sun was shining but it was still bloomin' cold in the shade. Bridleways that, only a couple of weeks ago were made of impassable porridge were, in the main, firm and rideable, although the fact that the ground was frozen in places helped.
A very enjoyable four hours spent with lots of pauses to admire the scenery and to simply enjoy the sunshine and the moment.
Better weather is on the way!
