I was a slow convert to smart phones but must say I've become a fan. I don't have a huge circle of friends so rarely use it as a phone (I rarely used my stupid phone either) but it is so much more than just a phone. I can make notes and use it as a diary, I can bring up a map if I need one, on cycle tours I can easily connect to free wifi and use the net to plan things easily on the move if I need to.

Not exactly. It's due in autumn. Typically September but apparently supply issue so maybe be late. Not only that it might not be called the 8 as it's the 10yr anniversary so possibly the iPhone x
