My take on commuting in London

I have a job that requires me to be in London 2-3 days a week (by train from Winchester to Chiswick. Having a new Brompton and nice work showers I have started cycling the 11k each way. For a variety of reasons it is not quicker than the train, and no cheaper. But wow, a lovely route. Quiet, peaceful and lots of pretty views and greenery. Clapham Junction, Putney, Barnes Bridge and 90% of it on quiet (very) roads or off road cycle routes.
