Taken a couple of years ago when it looked a bit more presentable than it does at the moment.

The frame was a custom build from Lee Cooper with the most of the kit being Shimano XT or Ultegra. There is a bit more information here for those so inclined.

Does the luggage on a touring bike ever pull you to one side?
I know you would try and balance the weight either side...but i can't help wondering what they are like to ride when all packed up with luggage.

It really doesn't, event if you only use one pannier. It can make the bike feel unstable when getting out of the saddle for uphills though.

Thanks all!

Agree with BTFB, it is probably more steady when fully loaded. I just find it can just wobble a bit when you jump out of the saddle to keep momentum going uphill. (Something I only usually do on day one until I remember where I am!)

Also both the bottom fixings on my rack snapped on tour this year, so it was held place by gravity and zip ties, which didn't help the stability at all!
