And nice computer mounting... clever idea...

only thing i can see is that the bearing of the gps will constantly be changing, to account for the minute turns in the handle bars.. is this a problem?

It depends on the GPS handset used but I imagine minute tweaks in the steering will outpace the rate at which the compass updates.

Ive personally never experienced any gps issues with it being mounted on the stem, yeah the flightdeck computer is cool as the controls are integrated into the brake hoods so that you can control things without taking your hands off them

Nice bike and well set up.

You can adjust the update rate on most GPSs to smooth out the heading.

On a 10 mile commute GPS isnt going to be too vital :-)

I have the crud race guards on my bike.If any of the components break go on cruds website they will replace them for the cost of stamps.

Nice bike.

The extra strap that came with the bagman - is that the one you mean? Anyway, I took out the leather strap that is the seatpost strap and put the fabric one on, then strapped it round the bagman support to keep the bag still, plus I have a brooks saddle so the top 2 straps go onto that.

PS, that is where I have my garmin edge too.

Thanks,I sent the Barley back to Wiggle today. The bag itself is fine but the capacity wouldnt fit everything that I needed for the light touring so ive bought the Carradice Pendle instead which should come sometime this week or next,Im hoping the extra litres will be the solution!

you must have larger sized clothes than me.  although for touring I'd take my touring bike/camper bag I think, unless I could get the husband to carry all the gear.
