I'm going to clean the bike in the kitchen, someone is coming to view it tomorrow, which makes me both happy and sad.

You need a proper man-cave eg. Garage. Far better than a kitchen

Sadly this Victorian terrace has no space for a garage and my wife is a pro gardener so the sheds are her domain!

A while back, while it was hissing down, I sneaked my bike into the kitchen for a quick fettle, so to speak, while Mrs G was out - however she returned unexpectedly early - and frankly if she'd caught me in flagrante with another woman I'd have had less grief - good luck!

Shhh, don't tell, but I cleaned it in the dining room as the light is better. My wife is ill in bed (which makes me sound a lot worse in this tale) but she did send one of her proxies to look at me dissaprovingly.

Thanks! The carpet fitter mate who laid it had a hangover when he put it don, he did not appreciate it!

Aww, you're selling it? I'd have snapped it right up if the funds allowed.

Good luck with the sale, hope it goes to a good owner!

It hasn't gone yet, and I'd rather sell it to a CCer. Although Gumtree has come up trumps and hopefully I have two viewings tomorrow, well one viewing if the first one goes well
