To repeat others, a shame it's closing. Setting targets online, regardless of whether others are looking, gives me an extra incentive to get out on the bike. Won't be quite the same using a spreadsheet and I'm not paying Strava just for this option!

I do wonder - how easy would it be for someone else / a group to take it over, sort out the privacy permissions and keep it going?

It does seem that the founder has wanted to wind down MCL for a while and this is an opportunity to do so neatly.

That would be a great idea.
Its a logging site that is so simple and easy to use, along with the brilliant tags feature. No other comes close.
