Why not ride the bike to work? Sell the motorbike, buy some coloured accessories and components for the Bianchi

You have ot me seriously interested in doing the same, can I ask what was the total cost in £ after all the fees? Thinking of the celesta colour which as far as I can tell isnt available with Ultegra in this country, why would that be?

Because the celeste Bianchis come with Campagnolo groupsets. Which is as it should be.

Cheers. Nice collection in your stable judging by your sig too.

Thanks;doesn't stop me looking at Ridley Fenix's though:rolleyes: and lusting at Colnagos:wahhey: in a LBS;think I'd get this:B) if I pulled the trigger though.

You do have the option of Black with Celeste on the Ultegra model but not Celeste only, as already advised above.

Mine cost me £1,738 with shipping, but my credit card charged me a 3% overseas currency fee, so £1,790 all in.

RRP in UK is £2,400 and the cheapest I could find was £2.150 at the time. Bargain!

Your bike inspired me to nip out and look at them in the flesh. Yours looks amazing didnt realise that it had quite a lot of celeste flashes on it. Now I really want one, the only thing putting me off was the guy in the shop saying it was a racy position, not great for 100 mile rides. How does it compare yo your Defy? I have my credit card in my hand!

Incidentally he didnt have any in my size in stock and zero chance of getting any more. Sat on a 57, to be fair to him he said it was too small for me as I needed a 59.

Yup. Has them on the finishing kit and brakes. I assume that you were looking at the Matt version like mine, rather than the last pic I posted to show the other version?

They have nearly all sizes to order in Munich, where mine came from.

You'll notice that 2015 models now listed too. Can't imagine the same discount yet though as don't arrive until October.

This was tempting when I ordered mine too. What a spec!

Last question, could you specify which way round you wanted the brakes or are they just the other way round and you have left them?

Bloody hell that is an amazing spec on that last link you provided, but I wouldn't get up the hills round here on the 52/39 and a 25 cassette.

Nope. They order in from Italy and then ship on to you. Bike therefore has brakes on wrong way for UK. The bike is shipped without bar tape on, so it was easy to swap around, albeit with a brand new cable or was too short when swapping over. Rear cable enters top tube on right side so naturally further to travel when swapping to the left lever.

My bike fit guy only charged £15 on top of fit to build it, plus the cable price, so was easier to let him do it for me.
