Surprise win in the British women's road race even the winner didn't believe it by the look on her face at the finish . Excellent finish from her teammate April Tacey in 7th she lives local to me and I went to school with her Dad and have had the privilege of riding with her so always look out for her results

I just found this inciteful video on YouTube. It looked like a brilliant ride by Cavendish. It's just a pity that he hasn't done a few more races like that during his career! (Maybe he could squeeze some in before retirement? )
