I won the lottery a couple of times. £20 in ten years.

I had dinner with a lady who did win £1.3 million a few years ago. To say she was a cheerful individual is putting it mildly.

I think limiting it lots of £1m wins would be better.

Only if you want to drastically reduce the ticket sales. As Euromillions (and similar) demonstrate, for most people the higher the jackpot the more they'll spend.

I'm a classic example. Basically I think Lotteries are a waste of money - nonetheless if the jackpot goes over £100 million I'll spend £2 on a ticket.

Your suggestion would have the advantage of saving me about £10 a year!

Why do you all assume they are not happy? Being separated & living their own lives might be the best thing for them both, as long as they can split amicably & share the money out I see no reason why they both can't be very happy.

I'm in the lottery syndicate at work. I've promised the other members I'll pay my subs once we win the jackpot.

It's not been the best week for struggling single mother Hazel Loveday.

I'd still love to try though, and no, I most certainly wouldn't make it public (although I doubt I'd be able to trust others to keep their mouths shut, so I'd probably move) - The amount of crap you must get off people must make it horrendous!
