Maybe in part because the subject matter is complex with many aspects (even from the same perspective) and often relating to a changing situation. Take a brief casual glance and it might appear a mess of differing views unlike eg "What SUV Do You Drive" which is much easier to glance at and comprehend.
Maybe NCAP even harder to glance at in that single threads often cover a multitude of different issues maybe with a common thread, often same thread with different issues intermingled. To see it for what it is takes time and if the subjects discussed are not of interest then no point - just ignore it (and be rude about it).
A lot of threads on the main forum I don't find interesting, a few where I'd risk being too outspoken so I just ignore them (without throwing "cesspit" at them).
I think that's spot on. Part of that is because there aren't new threads posted all that often, but hey ho, it is what it is.
These "Ooooh NCAP is bad and scary" threads pop up once in a while and generally get met with the same response by folk who actually contribute to that bit of the forum and enjoy it.
Anyway there's not supposed to be discussion of it on here, so it's pretty simple really, join in or don't, but fretting about it from the sidelines is a waste of time.
