I don't want to stereotype fixie riders because I know how annoying it is when people do so for cyclists in general, but am I justified in saying far more kn0bs ride fixies in the current craze than other bikes? (those who ride track or use them for training I'm very sorry). I'm not against this as it makes silly cyclists easier to avoid - see someone riding a fixie, give them some more space. He can't be the sharpest tool in the box riding a TT frame with aero wheels but wearing baggy clothes and a large bag on his back, he probably thinks it looks cool on his ride back from Urban Outfitters, maybe he's on his way to an alleycat.
