AAARRRRRRGH!
i am f***ing fuming at the tw*t in the f***ing mondeo that nearly took me out tonight.

On my way home, long, straight road. bus is pulled in to the side to pick up passengers. I'm zooming along (probably close to 30) in primary and the complete toss piece behind the bus decided that the 5 foot gap between me and the bus was big enough for his shoot heap of a car and drove the f***ing thing straight at me!

I was on the aeros at the time, and had to sit up, slam on the brakes and swerve in toward the kerb, ended up missing me by about 2 feet.

complete arse.

Shh... don't tell the wife though.

Day of it Dudi, I had some twunt undertake me as I was signalling right no less than 10 foot from the T junction only to put his right indicator on as he was level with me and then tried to cut across me. Old fart in a RAV 4 who did the look straight ahead thing when i gestured to him the error of his way.

The day for it, I think. I pulled in to let a lorry (coming towards me) pass me by some parked cars, and the car behind sped up to rush through the gap - missed me by a couple of inches, and gave the lorry driver a bit of a scare too.

Had a very near left hook shortly after from a pillock in a yellow mini who whizzed past then slammed his anchors on and turned across me.

Bizarrely, it was such a nice day that I still enjoyed the ride home anyway. Silly cagers.

Maybe it was a day for it. I was overtaken on the brow of a hill, on a bend, in a quiet residential street, by some knobber in a yellow something-or-other who had to pull left sharpish while overtaking because of an oncoming 4x4. Didn't require too much avoiding action tho', dab of the brakes.

Riding along minding my own business - one lane, one way street - approaching a cross roads with a similar one lane one way - nearly at the junction, moving at a fair clip, bloke on a folding Dahon also approaching said x-roads, looks up and straight at me...no worries, my road has right of way and he's seen me - shoot! - the bugger just keeps going. Slammed on the anchors, no harm done. But really...

The closest I've had to head on was just leaving a village a P plated driver was just entering the village and brake, naturally and some idiot came flying up be hind him and proceded to overtake, straight into my path. I was in the primary at this point so it wasn't a biggie for me to swerve out of the way I still had enough tarmac, the poor P plated driver looked terrified.

Nah I had the mobile (company car) proper car phone with wire drifting left into the cycle lane because said knob was to busy to concentrate on driving...Blast on the double horn and a few choice words fixed it.

Then my chain locked up in heavy traffic coming off of Tower Gateway into the Aldgate one way system (sic) due to a certain bike shop taking too many links off.Fixed ok though roughly.Need a new chain fitted at a guess.
Apart from that ok though.

Adherents of bio-dynamic principles (that our bio-rhythms are governed by moon cycles and other forces) reckon that there are days when driving will be worse - the bio-dynamic calendars have bad-driving days noted on them.

I had a lemmings encounter yesterday morning: a bus was parked on the other side of the road, I saw the bus and moved to primary. But that didn't prevent the first idiot from overtaking the bus, going straight for me. I put out my right arm, which seemed to confuse (or wake up) the driver. But guess what? No less than THREE other lemmings followed him! It was almost funny.

I'll post a video to youtube tomorrow.
